Business Development And Operations 

The MHS Business Development group identifies and introduces new ambulatory surgery center services and programs aimed at clinical and business enhancement. Partnerships with key physicians allow MHS to successfully identify and implement innovative programs of care as well as develop working relationships with local academic institutions to create IRB-approved research settings. 

Setting standards, benchmarking, and developing strategies aimed to improve financial and clinical performance are the core of services provided by the MHS. To aid clients maintain sustainable competitive advantage, the MHS regularly performs operational analyses of each of the free-standing ambulatory surgery centers. Periodical audits, allow MHS to discover new opportunities to improve efficiency and/or cost effectiveness in day-to-day operations of its clients. Following the analysis, MHS implements new standards and monitors performance of the management objectively evaluating the impact of each procedural change. The MHS constantly reviews and revises operating policies, procedures, manuals and systems aiming at achieving the highest standards of care by each of the served facilities. Among other operational services delivered by MHS are also purchasing, inventory, and physical plant management.
