The MHS Information Technology Department serves as a unified resource for all of the IT needs of our clients. From its location in the corporate office in downtown Chicago, the MHS IT Department operates the server farm that provides the applications for all of the client sites. Utilizing Citrix™ technology, end-users access applications from a uniform remote desktop that is accessible in a secure, HIPAA-compliant manner outside the network as well. Data back-up and storage utilizing best practices gives our clients the comfort that their work product is safe and secure. 

Besides network services, the IT Department manages all other technical and telecommunications needs of its clients maximizing economies of scale and negotiating expertise to minimize cost. The Department also provides a Help Desk during working hours and manages all IT-related projects. The IT Department dedicates time to training each and every new employee at the time of their initial orientation. 

The IT Department is led by Masters-credentialed IT professionals who understand strategic health IT. The Chief Information Officer, Dr. Kenny Bozorgi, is a physician executive with a Masters of Science in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University.
